Shalom Ladies Hostel Accommodations cannot be claimable as a matter of right. If Hostel Rules are violating or disturb the harmony of Ladies hostel may refuse Hostel Accommodation. Every student must follow all the rules and regulations of the Shalom Ladies Hostel. Ignorance of Shalom Ladies Hostel Ernakulam rules will not be regardable as an excuse.

• 1. Every Shalom Ladies Inmate should remain in the room allotted to her. However, only the Shalom chief Warden may allow as a particular case on a valid and reasonable ground.
• 2. Shalom Hostel Inmates must look up the Shalom Hostel Notice Board regularly.
• 3. No Shalom Ladies Inmate should keep any firearms, weapons, poisonous things or intoxicants of any kind in the Ladies Hostel. Inmates must not take any law into their own hands but must report all disputes to the hostel Warden immediately. All types of shouting, fighting, gambling, stealing, violet knocking, are strictly prohibited. In such cases, the Guilty party will be handed over to Police immediately.
• 4. No Shalom Ladies Hostel Inmates is allowed to have private servant/pet animals.
• 5. Shalom Ladies Inmates shall not remain absent from their hostels during the night without the prior permission of the Warden In-charge/warden.
• 6. Students shall not leave the hostel without prior approval of the Warden In-charge/Warden. They shall have to apply in prescribed for in advance stating the reason for going and the address of the destination. The student that leave hostel without permission from the concerned Warden shall be considered to be missing.
• 7. Formation of association of students by regions, caste or creed is not permitted, during their stay in the Shalom Ladies hostel Ernakulam .
• 8.In case of damage to any parts of the hostel buildings, furniture caused Shalom Ladies hostel Inmates, and the loss shall be recovering from the persons identified as responsible.However, it cannot be determined, the cost of repairing the same as may be distributed equally amongst all the inmates of the hostel.
• 9. Students should lock their room correctly when they are going out. Shalom Hostellers, in their interest, are advised not to keep excess cash or any valuables in rooms. They are warned to be very careful about the safety of their belongings. Shalom Ladies Hostel Ernakulam Authority shall not be responsible for the loss of such items due to theft or otherwise.
• 10. Inmates are not allowed to cook anything in their places.
• 11. No Ragging in any form in Shalom Ladies Hostel Ernakulam
• 12. In case of Emergency, Inmates are advised to take treatment at the nearest Hospital/Clinics and inform Shalom Ladies hostel immediately. In case of need for hospitalization, Inmates should notify her parents/guardians .
• 13. When the Lights not in use must be switched Off. The purpose of an electric heater, electric rod, and other similar appliance are prohibited.
• 14. Shalom Ladies Hostel Inmates are obstructed from consuming alcoholic drinks, drugs, cigarettes, or any other intoxicants inside the hostel or from entering the hostel after consuming the same. Any student found guilty will be taking strict disciplinary action.

Additional Rules for Shalom Ladies Hostel Ernakulam:

• 1 The timing to reach the Shalom Ladies Hostel will be 8.30 pm sharp
• 2 Visiting Hours: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. No male visitors are allowed to enter the Ladies Hostel without prior permission of the respective Warden in-charge/Warden. No visitors will be allowed to go inside the hostel. They can meet the person in Shalom Ladies Hostel Office
• 3 The Inmates must make an entry in the “In/Out Register” kept at the Hostel.
• 4 Photo ID card has to produce for verification at the time of admission.
• 5 If anybody uses the laptop will be charged extra Rs.300/- per month.
• 6 The monthly fee should be payable on or before the 5th of every month.
• 7 The occupants are not allowed to dump sanitary pads and other such materials in the toilets. The same as to be disposed of by themselves.
• 8 Mess-Cut for Shalom Ladies Hostel Ernakulam Will be available for 15 and 30 Days Which Should be informed earlier
• 9 15 days advance information will be given for vacating the hostel otherwise half-month fee to be paid.
